Many Ohio Brides never even consider public parks and recreation facilities wedding venues. But it is an option that should never be overlooked.  City, state, and county-owned facilities in Ohio are generally less expensive than private banquet halls because they are not out to make a profit. An in many private facilities, you’re not going to have such as beautiful setting as you would in a park. Imagine having your wedding in an historic building surrounded by a beautiful park.
Ohio’s parks have historic buildings and lodges that can accommodate as many has 250 guests. However, one thing to keep in mind is that some state parks have tougher restrictions on noise, alchohol and hours of the reception.
